R.F. Cook Manufacturing Company was founded in 1944 by Ray Cook in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. From the beginning, R.F. Cook focused on the tough jobs that nobody else wanted to do. The company built a reputation for quick-turnaround, close-tolerance machining using carbide and other exotic materials. In 1969, R.F. Cook built an 18,000-square-foot, climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Stow, Ohio. In 2015, an additional 4,500 square-foot, climate-controlled clean room was added.
